- ½ cup hot sauce
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken breast
- ½ cup reduced-fat sharp shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup blue cheese crumbles
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ cup green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC) to prepare for baking the dip evenly.
- Blend cottage cheese and hot sauce: Place the fat-free cottage cheese and hot sauce into a blender or food processor and blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, which will form the base of the dip.
- Combine ingredients: In a mixing bowl, add the blended cottage cheese mixture, shredded cooked chicken breast, reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese, half of the blue cheese crumbles, and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Transfer to baking dish: Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or a 9-inch pie plate, then transfer the combined dip mixture into it, spreading evenly.
- Bake the dip: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the dip is warmed through and slightly bubbling.
- Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and top the dip with the remaining blue cheese crumbles and sliced green onions. Serve the dip warm for the best flavor experience.
