Ingredients
Scale
Slushie Ingredients
- 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and frozen
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional, depending on sweetness of watermelon)
- 1/2 cup cold water or coconut water
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: Ensure the watermelon cubes are frozen for at least 3 hours to achieve the best slushie texture.
- Combine in blender: Add frozen watermelon cubes, fresh lime juice, honey or agave syrup (if using), and cold water or coconut water into a high-speed blender.
- Blend to slush: Blend all ingredients until smooth and slushy. If the mixture is too thick, gradually add more water, one tablespoon at a time, blending after each addition until the desired consistency is reached.
- Serve: Pour the slushie into glasses, garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired, and serve immediately to enjoy the refreshing texture and flavor.
Notes
- For an adult version, add a splash of vodka or rum.
- Freeze fresh watermelon cubes for at least 3 hours before blending to ensure the perfect slushie consistency.
