Crust

Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a bowl, combine crushed shortbread cookies or golden Oreos with the melted butter until the mixture is well combined. Firmly press this mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Place the crust in the freezer to set while you prepare the filling.
- Make the filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly until the mixture is uniform and creamy.
- Incorporate whipped topping and strawberries: Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture to maintain its light texture. Then, carefully stir in the chopped fresh strawberries until evenly distributed throughout the filling.
