Ingredients
Scale
Crust
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
Peanut Butter Layer
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
Chocolate Pudding Layer
- 1 package (3.9 oz) chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
Whipped Cream Layer & Topping
- 1 cup whipped cream (plus extra for topping)
Decorations
- 4-5 Snickers bars, chopped
- ¼ cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until evenly coated.
- Bake the crust: Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan to form an even layer. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden, then allow it to cool completely before proceeding.
- Make the peanut butter filling: In a mixing bowl, blend the creamy peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth and creamy. Pour this mixture into the cooled crust and spread it evenly.
- Prepare the chocolate pudding: In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and 2 cups of milk until thickened according to package instructions. Pour this pudding layer over the peanut butter filling, spreading it evenly.
- Fold in whipped cream: Take a portion of the prepared chocolate pudding mixture and gently fold in the 1 cup whipped cream until combined. Spread this whipped topping layer over the chocolate pudding layer.
- Chill the pie: Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and layers to set.
- Decorate and serve: Before serving, top the pie with extra whipped cream, sprinkle with chopped Snickers bars, and drizzle with additional caramel sauce for a decadent finish.
Notes
- For best results, use freshly whipped cream or store-bought whipped topping depending on preference.
- Allow the pie to chill overnight to ensure the layers set properly and flavors develop fully.
- Chop Snickers bars into small pieces to evenly distribute the crunchy texture in each bite.
- This pie can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator, covered tightly.
- If you prefer a firmer chocolate layer, chill the pudding mixture slightly before spreading.
