Ingredients
Scale
Meat
- 1 lb Italian sausage, crumbled
Sauce & Dairy
- 1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Pasta
- 1 package (20 oz) cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
Spices & Garnish
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the crumbled Italian sausage until browned and fully cooked through. Drain any excess fat and set the sausage aside for layering.
- Mix the Alfredo Sauce: In a large bowl, combine the Alfredo sauce, heavy cream, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Assemble the Lasagna: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly. Spread a thin layer of the Alfredo sauce mixture evenly on the bottom of the dish. Arrange a single layer of ravioli over the sauce. Sprinkle half of the cooked sausage over the ravioli, then generously layer mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Repeat the layering with the remaining sauce, ravioli, sausage, and cheeses. Finish by spreading any remaining sauce and cheese over the top layer.
- Bake: Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese topping is bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish and Serve: Allow the lasagna to cool for a few minutes after baking. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and fresh flavor. Serve warm and enjoy this rich and satisfying meal.
Notes
- Using fresh ravioli will reduce baking time slightly, but frozen ravioli works well too—just ensure they are fully cooked before assembling.
- Feel free to substitute turkey sausage for a leaner option.
- If you prefer a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes to the Alfredo sauce mixture.
- Letting the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before serving helps it set and makes slicing easier.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
