- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 24 slices pepperoni
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Nonstick cooking spray or parchment paper
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly spraying it with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Prepare Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 individual triangles to serve as the base for the rollups.
- Add Sauce: Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce evenly over each triangle, being sure to leave the edges free of sauce for easier rolling.
- Add Cheese and Pepperoni: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce on each triangle, then top each with 3 slices of pepperoni for full flavor.
- Roll Up: Starting from the wide end of each triangle, carefully roll the dough towards the pointed end to create crescent shapes.
- Season and Prepare for Baking: Arrange the rollups on the prepared baking sheet, sprinkle the tops with Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese if you choose to use it.
