- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Prepare Crust Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the Panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley, garlic powder, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the melted salted butter until the mixture becomes crumbly and well blended.
- Season Cod Fillets: Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels. Lightly season both sides with salt and black pepper. Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet, spaced evenly.
