Description

Grill Master Chicken Wings are succulent, marinated wings grilled to perfection and coated with a flavorful spicy butter sauce. These wings deliver a perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and savory flavors, making them an ideal appetizer or party snack for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Wings

  • 3 pounds chicken wings, cut apart at joints, wing tips discarded

Marinade

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup Italian-style salad dressing

Spicy Butter Sauce

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup hot pepper sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot), or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Wings: Combine chicken wings, ½ cup soy sauce, and ½ cup Italian-style salad dressing in a large resealable plastic bag. Seal the bag after squeezing out excess air, and refrigerate for 4 hours to overnight to allow flavors to infuse.
  2. Preheat the Grill: Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate to prevent sticking.
  3. Prepare Spicy Butter Sauce: In a small saucepan, melt ¼ cup butter over low heat. Stir in ¼ cup hot pepper sauce and 1 teaspoon soy sauce until well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Remove Wings from Marinade: Take the chicken wings out of the marinade and pat them dry with paper towels. Discard any leftover marinade to ensure safety during grilling.
  5. Grill the Wings: Place wings on the preheated grill, turning occasionally, and cook for about 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Confirm doneness with an instant-read thermometer ensuring an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Toss Wings in Sauce: Transfer the grilled wings to a large bowl, pour the prepared spicy butter sauce over them, and toss until all wings are well coated for an extra burst of flavor.

Notes

  • Marinating overnight will yield the most flavorful wings.
  • Adjust the amount of hot pepper sauce in the butter sauce to suit your preferred spice level.
  • Always discard leftover marinade to avoid contamination.
  • Using a meat thermometer ensures wings are safely cooked without overcooking.
  • Serve wings hot for best taste and texture.
