Description

This Fireball Apple Cider is a warm, spicy cocktail perfect for chilly evenings. Combining the fiery kick of Fireball whiskey with sweet, hot apple cider and complemented by aromatic garnishes like cinnamon sugar, fresh apple slices, and star anise, this drink is both comforting and festive. Ready in just 5 minutes, it’s an ideal cozy beverage for fall and winter gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 5 ounces Hot Apple Cider
  • 2 ounces Fireball Whiskey

Optional Garnishes

  • 1 ounce Cool Apple Cider (for glass rim)
  • Cinnamon Sugar (for glass rim)
  • Red Apple Slices (3 thin slices for garnish)
  • Cinnamon Sticks (1 stick per glass)
  • Whole Star Anise (a couple per glass)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glass rim: Pour about 1 ounce of cool apple cider onto a small plate. Dip the rim of your serving glass into the cider to moisten it.
  2. Coat the rim with cinnamon sugar: Spread cinnamon sugar on a clean plate. Carefully dip the moistened rim of the glass into the cinnamon sugar to coat it evenly.
  3. Add Fireball whiskey to the glass: Pour 2 ounces of Fireball whiskey into the prepared glass, taking care not to wash off the cinnamon sugar rim.
  4. Pour hot apple cider: Pour 5 ounces of hot apple cider into the glass. The heat will help mix the drink naturally.
  5. Prepare and add apple slice garnish: Stack three thin sliced red apples on a cocktail pick. Fan out the slices and place the pick so the apple fan rests on the front side of the glass, slightly to one side.
  6. Add cinnamon stick and star anise: Place one cinnamon stick on the opposite side of the apple slices inside the glass and add a couple of whole star anise pods. The garnishes add aroma and visual appeal.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Present your warm, spicy Fireball Apple Cider immediately to enjoy its cozy flavors.

Notes

  • Use fresh hot apple cider heated but not boiling for best flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of Fireball whiskey for desired strength.
  • The cinnamon sugar rim adds a sweet spicy contrast to the drink.
  • Garnishes are optional but enhance aroma and presentation significantly.
  • This cocktail is best enjoyed warm and fresh.
