Scale
Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut milk (unsweetened, canned)
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 4–5 limes)
- 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 1/2 cups ice cubes (plus more for serving)
- lime slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a blender, add 1 cup of unsweetened canned coconut milk, 1/2 cup fresh lime juice extracted from about 4 to 5 limes, 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk, 1 cup cold water, and 1 1/2 cups of ice cubes.
- Blend Until Smooth: Blend all ingredients on high speed until the mixture is smooth, frothy, and well combined, ensuring the ice is crushed and fully integrated.
- Adjust Flavor: Taste the limeade and adjust sweetness by adding more sweetened condensed milk or some additional fresh lime juice if you prefer it more tart.
- Serve Chilled: Pour the coconut limeade immediately into chilled glasses filled with extra ice cubes for maximum refreshment.
- Garnish and Enjoy: Optionally, garnish each glass with a fresh lime slice for a decorative touch and serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
Notes
- For an extra refreshing twist, freeze some of the limeade in ice cube trays and use these frozen cubes instead of regular ice to avoid diluting the flavor as it melts.
- You can add a pinch of salt to the limeade to enhance and balance the flavors, making the citrus and creamy notes pop.
- If you prefer a vegan version, substitute sweetened condensed milk with a plant-based condensed milk alternative or sweeten with agave syrup to taste.
