Description

Christmas Morning Punch is a bright, bubbly, and festive drink perfect for celebrating the holidays. Made with a blend of orange, cranberry, and pineapple juices combined with sparkling lemon-lime soda or ginger ale, this refreshing and kid-friendly punch can be easily customized with fresh fruit garnishes or a splash of champagne for adults.

Ingredients

Scale

Juices

  • 3 cups orange juice (preferably pulp-free)
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice

Other Liquids

  • 1 liter lemon-lime soda or ginger ale (chilled)
  • 1/2 cup grenadine (optional, for color and sweetness)

Garnishes

  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine Juices: In a large punch bowl or pitcher, pour the orange juice, cranberry juice, and pineapple juice together. Stir well to blend the flavors evenly.
  2. Add Grenadine: If using, stir in the 1/2 cup grenadine to add sweetness and a festive red color to the punch.
  3. Add Soda: Just before serving, gently pour in the chilled lemon-lime soda or ginger ale. Stir carefully to avoid losing the carbonation.
  4. Garnish and Chill: Add ice cubes to the punch to keep it cold, then float the orange slices, fresh cranberries, and pomegranate seeds on top for a decorative and flavorful touch.
  5. Serve: Ladle the punch into glasses or cups and serve immediately to enjoy its refreshing, bubbly texture.

Notes

  • To make the punch boozy for adults, add 1 cup of champagne, prosecco, or vodka just before serving.
  • Freeze some of the juice with fruit in ice cube trays to keep the punch cold without diluting it as the ice melts.
