Description

These chocolate-dipped strawberry brownies combine rich, fudgy chocolate brownies with juicy fresh strawberries and a decadent dark chocolate coating. Perfect for Valentine’s Day, parties, or a sweet treat any time, they offer a beautiful presentation and a mouthwatering flavor combination.

Ingredients

Scale

Brownie Base

  • 1 box (18–20 oz) brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box, typically eggs, oil, and water)

Decorations

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries (washed and thoroughly dried)
  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare Brownies: Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, pour in the batter, and bake according to the time listed for that size pan, typically 35–40 minutes. Let brownies cool completely.
  2. Cut and Arrange Strawberries: Once cooled, cut the brownies into 16 squares and place a whole dried strawberry, stem side up, in the center of each brownie.
  3. Melt Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until smooth and melted.
  4. Dip and Decorate: Holding the top of each strawberry, spoon melted chocolate over the berry and brownie, allowing it to drip slightly down the sides.
  5. Set Chocolate: Place brownies on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes or until the chocolate sets. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Make sure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to ensure the chocolate adheres properly.
  • Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor.
  • You can substitute melted white chocolate for a decorative drizzle.
