Ingredients
Scale
Brownie Base
- 1 box (18–20 oz) brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box, typically eggs, oil, and water)
Decorations
- 1 pound fresh strawberries (washed and thoroughly dried)
- 1 ½ cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable oil
Instructions
- Prepare Brownies: Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, pour in the batter, and bake according to the time listed for that size pan, typically 35–40 minutes. Let brownies cool completely.
- Cut and Arrange Strawberries: Once cooled, cut the brownies into 16 squares and place a whole dried strawberry, stem side up, in the center of each brownie.
- Melt Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until smooth and melted.
- Dip and Decorate: Holding the top of each strawberry, spoon melted chocolate over the berry and brownie, allowing it to drip slightly down the sides.
- Set Chocolate: Place brownies on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes or until the chocolate sets. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- Make sure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to ensure the chocolate adheres properly.
- Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor.
- You can substitute melted white chocolate for a decorative drizzle.
