Instructions

  1. Preheat and Brown Beef: Preheat your oven to 375°F. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the ground beef and diced onion, cooking until the beef is browned and the onions are softened, approximately 6 to 8 minutes.
  2. Add Seasonings and Tomatoes: Stir in minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional minute until fragrant. Then add tomato sauce and undrained diced tomatoes. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for 5 to 7 minutes to blend the flavors.
  3. Cook Noodles: While the sauce simmers, cook the egg noodles in a pot of salted boiling water until they are just al dente. Drain well and set aside.
  4. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles with sour cream and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Add the meat sauce and mix thoroughly until everything is evenly coated.
