- Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add the cold heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Whip the Cream: Using a hand mixer or stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat on medium-high speed until soft to medium peaks form, about 2 to 3 minutes. Be careful not to overwhip, or the cream may turn grainy.
- Use or Store: Once whipped, use the Chantilly cream immediately or store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Notes
- For flavored variations, try adding a splash of almond or orange extract.
- To stabilize for piping, mix in 1 tablespoon of instant vanilla pudding mix or 1 teaspoon of cornstarch before whipping.
