Wet Ingredients
- 1/2 cup almond butter or peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Blue Majik powder (spirulina extract)
Optional
- 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips or dried blueberries
Instructions
- Combine dry ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, shredded coconut, chia seeds, flaxseed meal, and sea salt until evenly distributed.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk the almond butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and Blue Majik powder until smooth and uniformly colored.
- Combine wet and dry: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir thoroughly until the mixture is well combined and sticky.
- Add optional mix-ins: Fold in mini chocolate chips or dried blueberries, if using, to add extra texture and flavor.
- Chill the mixture: Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes to firm up the mixture, making it easier to handle.
- Form energy balls: Once chilled, roll the mixture into 1-inch diameter balls using your hands.
- Store properly: Place the energy balls in an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for longer storage.
